Peptide COA field guide for one published sample
Read one Janoshik sample report, compare its sample with the supplier-mapped pen formats, and record six results with their limits.
Update History ▾
RET-20-V-2604-001 describes a submitted 20mg retatrutide sample. The published batch record calls it lyophilised and maps the record to the supplier’s 10mg and 40mg pens. That mapping does not make a finished pen or a later shipping lot the tested sample.
RET-20-V-2604-001 quick record
Sample scope: The published batch record describes a Retatrutide 20mg lyophilised sample. The Janoshik image names “Retatrutide 20mg.” Supplier mapping points to its 10mg and 40mg pens.
| Test and task | Reported finding | Read it as |
|---|---|---|
| HPLC purity + quantitative assay Task 112563 | 99.741% purity; 20.92mg assay | Separate HPLC result fields. Purity is not amount by weight. |
| Mass (CHNS) Task 112566 | Retatrutide (CHNS), 21.80mg | A CHNS (elemental analysis) mass result, separate from the HPLC assay. |
| LCMS contamination screen Task 112567 | “No significant contamination detected.” The report also notes mannitol, disaccharide, retatrutide and degradation products. | A screen result, not a sterility or all-contaminants finding. |
| Heavy metals Task 112569 | Arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury not detected | These four named metals only. |
| Residual TFA Task 112564 | Not detected | The TFA result only. |
| Bacterial endotoxin (LAL) Task 112565 | 1.449 EU/vial | An endotoxin result. No sterility test is listed. |

Read the sample line before the percentage
The Janoshik report image lists task 112563, sample “Retatrutide 20mg,” batch RET-20-V-2604-001, and ProPeptide in the manufacturer field. The published batch record describes the sample format as “Reta 20mg (lyophilised sample).” The supplier mapping names ProPeptide Retatrutide Pen 10mg and Pen 40mg, with the relationship marked “supplier-mapped.”
Use that mapping to understand which supplier formats the record references. The batch page and COA library hold the published record.
Task 112563: purity and assay
The report records “Common GLP-1 peptide blind test (Semaglutide, Tirzepatide and Retatrutide)” as the requested test. The published batch record labels the task “HPLC purity and quantitative assay.” It records 99.741% purity and a separate 20.92mg assay result. Read those as separate fields.
The report comment says the peak with lambda maximum 201, 209 and 229nm was not counted among impurities. Keep that note with the reported purity. No task is named “identity.” Two results bear on it: task 112563 was requested as a blind test for semaglutide, tirzepatide and retatrutide and reported retatrutide, and the LCMS screen lists retatrutide among the substances it detected. Neither is a full sequence confirmation.

The other five task records
- Mass (CHNS), task 112566: 21.80mg reported as “Retatrutide (CHNS).” Verify task 112566.
- LCMS screening for peptide contamination, task 112567: the result says “No significant contamination detected.” Its comment also lists mannitol, disaccharide, retatrutide and degradation products. Verify task 112567.
- Heavy metals, task 112569: arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury not detected. Verify task 112569.
- Residual TFA, task 112564: not detected. Verify task 112564.
- Bacterial endotoxin (LAL), task 112565: 1.449 EU per vial. Verify task 112565.
Each entry is one recorded task. The mass result does not replace the HPLC assay. The LCMS result keeps its stated qualifier, “no significant contamination detected,” alongside the substances named in the comment. The heavy-metal and TFA results refer to their named tests.
What the six entries leave open
The published batch record lists no sterility test, no test of a finished 10mg or 40mg pen and no test of a later shipping lot.
The listed metals are arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury. The residual result is for TFA. The LCMS task is a contamination screen with the stated result and comment. These records do not establish the absence of every possible contaminant, or suitability for human or veterinary use.
